Newark’s “Cultural Corridor” is a currently developing project spearheaded by Project for Empty Space and Express Newark, and the Design Consortium of Rutgers University-Newark. The project consists of an expansive trail beginning from Edison Pl. to Mulberry Commons, and will involve rotating works from over 50+ local artists. This project is sponsored by many stakeholders, including Newark City Parks Foundation, and Newark Arts and Culture District. During an internship, I continued to work on this project, creating color palettes, and moodboards for imagery and texture.
