Since their invention in Japan, emojis have become a global phenomenon.
In Byte-sized Emotions: Connecting Through Digital Visual Language, the audience will learn how digital communication is affected by emoticons (emotes). The transmedia project presents a visual timeline detailing the evolution of emoticons from ":-)" to ";" an animated video titled "The Emoji Era" ; and finally, through a collection called "byte-sized nostalgia" the audience can explore the distinctive role that stickers play in digital communication.
